A. James Bennett, M.D.

Biography
Dr. A. James Bennett was born in Wyoming and grew up in Idaho and San Francisco. He attended San Jose State University, earned dual degrees, a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Bacteriology. Dr. Bennett earned a Master of Arts in Microbiology from San Francisco State University. He earned his Doctrine of Medicine from the University of Missouri School of Medicine in 1969. Upon graduating he completed his internship and residency at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota.
At the completion of his residency, he began a private practice in Kenosha, Wisconsin. In 1988 he relocated to Arizona and joined Arizona Medical Clinic; he was a partner for twenty years. Dr. Bennett opened Dermatology of Southern Arizona in 2008. Dr. Bennett joined Specialists in Dermatology, PLLC in December 2011..

Dr. Bennett is a diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology, a diplomat of the Board of Medical Examiners, a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, an Adjunct Faculty Preceptor at the Arizona State University.
