Karin A. Myers, PA-C

Biography

Karin Myers received her Bachelor’s degree in Education in 1989 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She went on to obtain her Master’s Degree in Communicative Disorders in 1991 and worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist for ten years in both the hospital and clinical settings in Wisconsin and Tucson.  Her desire to expand her medical knowledge and to broaden her impact on the health and well being of others prompted her to further her education once again in 2002 when she completed her Bachelors of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies with honors at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona.

PA Myers worked as a Hospitalist in Internal Medicine at Tucson Medical Center prior to joining Specialists in Dermatology, PLLC in August of 2005. She maintains her license and certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the American Hospital Association, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the Tucson Dermatology Society.

Ms. Myers spends her time away from the office with her husband, a native Tucsonan, their daughter, and their many family and friends
