Norman E. Bystol, MD
About: Dr. Norman E. Bystol was born and raised in Northern Minnesota. He graduated from St. Olaf College with a dual B.A. in Chemistry and Biology. Dr. Bystol received his medical degree from the University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine in 1962 and completed his medical residency at Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In 1965, he went back to the Pritzker School of Medicine to complete his dermatology residency. After completing his residency, he served in the U.S. Air Force for two years at the Randolf AFB in Texas. He then joined the Dakota Clinic in Fargo, ND, where he had a dermatology practice and was a clinical professor at the University of North Dakota for 24 years. Professional memberships of Dr. Bystol's include the American Board of Dermatology, American Academy of Dermatology, American Medical Association, and Tucson Dermatology Society. Dr. Bystol and his wife Joan reside in Green Valley, AZ. Joan is a professional organist and church musician. They have five children, who all live in the North with their nine grandchildren.
Nicholas Porter, PA-C
About: Nicholas Porter, PA-C, graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Arts in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. He then went on to A.T. Still University to earn a Masters's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Mr. Porter was previously working in the Emergency Department before coming to further his career at Specialists in Dermatology. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. He is currently accepting new patients. In his free time, Mr. Porter enjoys spending time with his family, fitness, hiking and he also loves photography and drawing.

Don Valmores, NP-C
About: Don started his career as a registered nurse at the age of 20 from the country where he was born, the Philippines. He moved to London, United Kingdom in 1999 and continued to practice nursing. With his passion in learning, He went on and obtained courses at Middlesex University in London and later became the first Medical Nurse Practitioner from Asia at North Middlesex University NHS Hospital and Barnet and Chase Farm NHS Hospital. With his enthusiasm to explore the world, he moved to Tucson with his family. Since then, he worked at Tucson Medical Center and has gained various experiences in the field of medicine.Don graduated with Honors by the Sigma Theta Honor International Society at University of Phoenix and National Board Certified through American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. He is an active member of American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, National Academy of Dermatology Nurse Practitioner and Southern Arizona Advanced Practice Nurse - Nurse Practitioner Society.
Xianping Fang, NP-C
About: Certified by American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (NP-C) and Dermatology Nurse Practitioner Certification Board (DCNP), Xiangping Fang started her career as a Registered Nurse (RN) about 37 years ago, worked in China, Middle East, England, and The United States, in specialties such as Medical-Surgical, Womens Health, Pediatric, Ortho-Neuro, Stroke, and Acute Rehabilitation. After she moved to the US, she went on to earn her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University. She then completed her Master of Science in Nursing/Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of Phoenix. She worked in Internal Medicine as NP-C before she moved to Dermatology in March 2016. She has been working in Specialists in Dermatology PLLC. as NP-C, DCNP since and is currently accepting new patients. Xiangping Fang NP-C, DCNP is a member of Dermatology Nurses Association and American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She speaks Mandarin and English; she enjoys reading, going on walks, hiking, swimming, traveling, visiting family and friends in China, and spending time with her son.
Wechita Recalde, NP-C
About: Wechita Recalde, NP-C, FNP-BC, graduated from Centro Escolar University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. She worked in her home country, the Philippines, for a few years then moved to New Zealand in 1997 to work as a Registered Comprehensive Nurse. She worked in Auckland as a Cardiothoracic ICU Nurse, and Head and Neck Nurse Specialist before moving to the US in 2004. She has worked in various hospitals in Tucson in the areas of Cardiac ICU, Neuro ICU, and Bed Control Management prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner. NP Recalde earned her Master's degree in Family Nurse Practitioner with honors through Grand Canyon University. She is nationally certified by both AANP (American Academy of Nurse Practitioners), and ANCC (American Nurses Credentialing Center). She is currently a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and the Southern Arizona Advanced Practice Nurse-Nurse Practitioner Society. She is accepting new patients. In her leisure time, NP Recalde loves spending time with her family, traveling, and exploring the outdoors.
Colleen Schrant, NP-C
About: Colleen Schrant, NP-C, graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing then went on to earn her Masters of Science in Nursing,FNP from Grand Canyon University. She is a certified member of the Academy of Nurse Practitioner as well as a member of the Dermatology Nurses Association. NP Schrant has over 19 years of experience in the medical field. In her vast career in medicine, she has had practice in Emergency Medicine, Hospital Administration, Patient Experience Coaching, Pediatric Intensive Care and Dermatology. She is married to her high school sweetheart and loves being a mom. She is currently accepting new patients. In her free time Colleen enjoys being creative, loves cooking, traveling and spending time with her family.
