About: Nicholas Porter, PA-C, graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Arts in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. He then went on to A.T. Still University to earn a Masters's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Mr. Porter was previously working in the Emergency Department before coming to further his career at Specialists in Dermatology. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. He is currently accepting new patients. In his free time, Mr. Porter enjoys spending time with his family, fitness, hiking and he also loves photography and drawing.
Nichole Laux, NP-C
About: Nichole Laux NP-C graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing. She has vast work experiences in large hospitals including Surgical/Trauma ICU at UMC and being bed control and house supervisor at UMC. She has also worked as a Nurse Practitioner at the Pain Institute of Southern Arizona. Nichole earned her Masters of Science Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner degree through University of Phoenix. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and also is a part of Dermatology Nurses Association. She is currently accepting new patients. In her free time Ms. Laux enjoys spending time with her family, Skiing, going hiking in the great outdoors, biking, boating, reading, and traveling and experience new cultures.
Xianping Fang, NP-C
About: Certified by American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (NP-C) and Dermatology Nurse Practitioner Certification Board (DCNP), Xiangping Fang started her career as a Registered Nurse (RN) about 37 years ago, worked in China, Middle East, England, and The United States, in specialties such as Medical-Surgical, Womens Health, Pediatric, Ortho-Neuro, Stroke, and Acute Rehabilitation. After she moved to the US, she went on to earn her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University. She then completed her Master of Science in Nursing/Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of Phoenix. She worked in Internal Medicine as NP-C before she moved to Dermatology in March 2016. She has been working in Specialists in Dermatology PLLC. as NP-C, DCNP since and is currently accepting new patients. Xiangping Fang NP-C, DCNP is a member of Dermatology Nurses Association and American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She speaks Mandarin and English; she enjoys reading, going on walks, hiking, swimming, traveling, visiting family and friends in China, and spending time with her son.
Wechita Recalde, NP-C
About: Wechita Recalde, NP-C, FNP-BC, graduated from Centro Escolar University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. She worked in her home country, the Philippines, for a few years then moved to New Zealand in 1997 to work as a Registered Comprehensive Nurse. She worked in Auckland as a Cardiothoracic ICU Nurse, and Head and Neck Nurse Specialist before moving to the US in 2004. She has worked in various hospitals in Tucson in the areas of Cardiac ICU, Neuro ICU, and Bed Control Management prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner. NP Recalde earned her Master's degree in Family Nurse Practitioner with honors through Grand Canyon University. She is nationally certified by both AANP (American Academy of Nurse Practitioners), and ANCC (American Nurses Credentialing Center). She is currently a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and the Southern Arizona Advanced Practice Nurse-Nurse Practitioner Society. She is accepting new patients. In her leisure time, NP Recalde loves spending time with her family, traveling, and exploring the outdoors.
Colleen Schrant, NP-C
About: Colleen Schrant, NP-C, graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing then went on to earn her Masters of Science in Nursing,FNP from Grand Canyon University. She is a certified member of the Academy of Nurse Practitioner as well as a member of the Dermatology Nurses Association. NP Schrant has over 19 years of experience in the medical field. In her vast career in medicine, she has had practice in Emergency Medicine, Hospital Administration, Patient Experience Coaching, Pediatric Intensive Care and Dermatology. She is married to her high school sweetheart and loves being a mom. She is currently accepting new patients. In her free time Colleen enjoys being creative, loves cooking, traveling and spending time with her family.
