Post-Cryosurgery Wound Care Instructions
- The area(s) will be red and crusty with possible blistering in the next 1-2 weeks.
- Gently clean the area(s) with soap and water daily. Cover the area(s) with Aquaphor or Vaseline.
- If the top layer of the skin appears broken/open, apply topical triple antibiotics ointment (avoid Neosporin).
- If the lesion(s) does not improve in one month, call us to schedule an appointment for further evaluation and treatment.

- El área o áreas estarán rojas y con costras con posibles ampollas en las próximas 1-2 semanas.
- Limpie suavemente el área o áreas con agua y jabón todos los días. Cubra el área o áreas con Aquaphor o Vaselina.
- Si la capa superior de la piel parece estar rota/ abierta, aplique un ungüento antibiótico triple tópico (evite Neosporin).
- Si las lesiones no mejoran en un mes, llámenos para programar una cita para una evaluación y tratamiento adicionales.
